In some corporate networks, the IT department may request equipment information before allowing it to connect to the network, such as MAC address, IP address, gateway, or DNS servers.
This information can be viewed directly on the Fit Express screen.
How to Check Connection Information
- On the device, go to the Settings menu.
- Enter Network Settings.
- The screen will display the available Wi-Fi networks.
- Locate the network to which the device is connected.
- When the device is connected via Ethernet cable, the screen will show the corresponding Ethernet connection indication.
- On the connected network, tap the information icon.
- The screen will display the main connection data, such as:
- SSID or connection name;
- Status;
- Device;
- UUID;
- IP assignment method;
- IP;
- Gateway;
- DNS Server;
- Physical address, also called MAC Address;
- Auto-connect (Ethernet only);

How to Locate the MAC Address for Wi-Fi or Ethernet Connection
The Fit Express has different MAC addresses for each network interface:
- WLAN MAC: address used by the Wi-Fi connection;
- ETH MAC: address used by the Ethernet cable connection.
If the IT department requests the MAC Address to register or authorize the device on the network, provide the address corresponding to the type of connection that will be used.

Need to Configure a Static IP?
If the establishment’s network does not use automatic IP assignment or if the IT department provides specific parameters for the device, use the Advanced Network Settings option.
On this screen, you can switch between:
- Dynamic IP, using DHCP;
- Static IP, configured manually.
When using a static IP, request the following information from the network administrator:
- IP address and subnet mask;
- Gateway;
- DNS Server 1;
- DNS Server 2, if applicable.
Do not change these settings without information provided by the network administrator of the establishment.
After entering the data, confirm the change so the new configuration is saved.

Still Need Help?
If the device is connected to the local network but cannot access Prática’s online services or the IOK Platform, contact support and, if possible, have on hand:
- Your device’s serial number;
- Information about any firewall restrictions or internet access limitations present on the network.
